ZiP-AMP

Product code: P003021

ZiP-AMP is a modular, rapid assay development kit with a simple workflow, rapid time-to-result and a pathway to product realisation with volume and quality supply options available.

ZiP-AMP assay kit contains lyophilised beads and buffers for 100 ZiP-AMP isothermal DNA amplification reactions. Beads come separated into a ZiP-AMP polymerase bead and a dNTP bead. The beads are combined in a tube, together with primers and detection dye provided by the user, to form a single reaction. ZiP-AMP is optimised for high sensitivity diagnostics with typical time to result of 10-12 minutes for positive samples.

There is the option to add reverse-transcriptase beads, available separately, for detection of RNA.

Standard supply is for research use only

Storage and stability
ZiP-AMP reagents are supplied as lyophilised beads that can be stored at room temperature, between 2 and 25ËšC. ZiP-AMP reagents are stable in these conditions for 2 years.

ZiP-AMP is based on LAMP
ZiP-AMP is based on the Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) reaction for amplification of DNA targets.

Instrumentation
runs on any instrument suitable for isothermal reactions. A suitable R&D portable instrument is the Axxin T8 which has all the functions required including test result algorithm and magnetic mixing.
