ZiP-Taq is a thermostable DNA polymerase I originally isolated from the thermophilic eubacterial microorganism Thermus aquaticus. Able to withstand very high temperatures, ZiP-Taq is suitable for amplification of DNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or thermocycling.
